Tumandok Backyard (Ugsaran sang Tumandok) by Rex Cuenca
Tumandok means native. Before the Spaniards came over, the island was called “Buglas,” which in Hiligaynon means “to cut off.” The inhabitants used to grow root crops in their backyards and harvest fruit in the forest.
