Rizal Memorial Sports Complex – MalateLocated along Calle Vito Cruz cor. Calle Dakota (M. Adriatico Street). Construction of the complex started in 1927 and was completed in 1934. Used as the venue of the 1934 Far Eastern Championship Games. The complex was used as a fortress by Japanese troops and was heavily damaged in 1945 during the Battle of Manila. Restored after World War 2. The Track and Football Stadium was used as the venue for the 1966 Manila concert of the Beatles. The complex includes the following buildings: Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Track and Football Stadium, Baseball Stadium, Swimming Pool, Squash Court, and the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Managed today by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
