This Allataw or Kallatao is used by the Ifugao of Banaue as burden baskets. The frame is made of bamboo, while the weave is made of rattan. It has a narrow square base while the mouth is wide, at a 51 cm diameter. This design ensures that the harvest can be secured within the container.
