COMELEC Gun Ban 2019

Application for Gun Ban exemption is happening at the CBFSP Office at the COMELEC Main
Office in Intramuros. It is open from 8 am to 5 pm to accept applications.

The election gun ban runs from January 13 until June 12, 2019, for the upcoming National and
Local Elections on 2019.

Application for exemption from the gun ban and other prohibited acts runs from
December 1, 2018, until May 29, 2019.

Qualified persons may apply for a certificate of authority at the COMELEC through the
Committee on the Ban on Firearms and Security Personnel (CBFSP).

Forms and requirements must be submitted to the CBFSP office, COMELEC Main Office in
Intramuros, Manila.
