Who is General Miguel Malvar’s Wife?
In 1811, Gen. Miguel Malvar, one of the last generals to surrender to the Americans after the Philippine-American War, married the daughter of the mayor of Sto. Tomas, Batangas, Paula Maloles at the young age of 16. They were blessed with 13 children but only 11 survived:
- Bernabe,
- Aurelia,
- Marciano,
- Maximo,
- Crispina,
- Mariquita,
- Luz Constancia,
- Miguel Junior,
- Paula Junior,
- Isabel, and
- Pablo.
General Miguel Malvar supported his family by farming and raising livestock.
